The Ad Break Workout

This quick and easy workout can be done while watching some of your favourite TV programmes. Each time an ad break comes on you can spring into action and use the time more productively than channel hopping.


The idea is, carry out the exercises below for the duration of an advert and when the advert changes, move onto the next exercise. Always ensure correct form is used and its probably best to skip the quick workout if youre in the middle of a TV dinner.


Advert 1 - Squats

Advert 2 - Press Ups

Advert 3 - Lunges

Advert 4 - Mountain Climbers

Advert 5 - Tricep Dips

Advert 6 - Sumo Squat

Advert 7 - Burpee

Advert 8 - Flutter kicks


Repeat until adverts have finished


Prog Trailer - Plank / Isometric Squat


For any programme trailer, hold the plank or squat position


So, no more claiming you don’t have time to exercise. If you watch TV, you’ve got time!! :-)
